After a very slow start, I felt better today and tried to make the most of it,
Note to self… I will have to put measures in place to ensure I get to bed at a more reasonable hour, and out of bed in the morning. It just seems like the thing is holding me down and if I don’t watch out, it will hold me hostage for the whole day. Nevertheless, I managed to get out of bed, grab my flying gear as well as my wetsuit and bodyboard in case the wind was a no show, and the hill was disappointing. Fortunately, Taylor’s Mistake was on-off enough so that I could catch up with some friends and get some flying done. Even made it out to the cliffs and back on two occasions.
After the flying was done, it was too cold for a swim, but I had time for an ice-cream, walk on Sumner beach and watch the sun go down. Magic.
Then, “FP100″… this is my one hundredth blog post entry today (Floating Phil 100). I actually cannot believe that I started this whole thing and am keeping up with it and holding myself accountable for my promise of doing this for 5 years, every single day. Something to be proud of I think.
