A little (boring) homework today.

Yes, not much to report or remember,

Spotted this beauty below on my way to Emily’s for a meditation session this morning.  Nature is just simply wonderful with regards to the colours, shapes and patterns she can produce given enough time.
After a call to the French embassy in Wellington I (disappointingly) realised that I still do not have a visa to go to Europe.  There was a little communication breakdown and still more work to do here.  Ugh.

Back home, while the sun was out, I got stuck into cleaning a little around the outside of my home in preparation for my trip later next month.  Cleaning the gutters, washing down the eaves and finally the windows outside.  Didn’t get to finish all of it, but made a good start.  I remembered why I should do this in March, not June… the sun sets early and it gets cold when the water runs down your arm into your shirt.

Also tinkering with the settings of the heat pump in the living room and the “night store heater” in the passage to warm my home efficiently this winter.  I need to get the daylight savings settings correct too, since I am only returning in October.  Wow, the year is just flying past… before I know it, I will be looking for a job again.
