Spring day, and Sunday.

Taking a step back today, sleeping in and lighting the fire,
 
Yes, it is the first of September today and the calendar is sending a clear reminder that time waits for no one. It feel like just yesterday I started this year long sabbatical “thing” and poof, here I am in September in South Africa.  Spring is here, the days are getting longer and I still have so much left to do, see and experience this year.  Ugh, time to get up and out of bed.  
 
Took it easy this morning, sleeping in a little (with Huppel-kat (the cat)).  We had to look at the brake master cylinder of the car again, but we put it aside, poured some drinks and lit the fire for a (what turned out to be) very late BRAAI lunch.  It was a great weather day and awesome sitting outside with my parents around the fire under the blue African sky.  Such a South African thing to do, or at least for me.
 
We dragged ourselves back into the garage towards the end of the day and gave the brake parts of the car one last inspection before reassembling it all.  We will test it tomorrow in the hope that the universe has worked it magic.

    I enjoyed the day out with Friends – we were invited to a Friend’s Garden Centre for the 20th anniversary –
    Champagne and good food bites
    I bought a little plant for support “-)

    My mouth was now watering re the Braai – have not done that in a while – even being in SA ..

    The Universe is going to work her magic – just be patient 😉
