Starting with a well deserved “sleeping in”,
I spent most of the morning in bed actually: sleeping late, catching up with people in other time zones and updating FloatingPhil.com. We had rain last night and this morning was looking grey and cold, perfect weather for staying in bed.
It was good catching up with family conversations later around the table and I managed to make another visit to the beach in the afternoon when the weather improved. The ocean is such a powerful force of nature, and I think I can watch the waves crashing in for days on end. Lots of good memories here, some from my childhood and others from later in life... A photo of one of those memories is hanging in my mom’s work/tv room.
It was a tough past week and I am looking forward into another “full on” week with the car ahead. Dad and I are driving back to Ceres tonight with mom following later in the week with my sister.

Cool, not a bad “go to” place. I find it hard to imaging NOT living close to the ocean.
