Checked out this morning at The Baths and made my way to Cape Town during the afternoon,
Ugh… I guess all good things must come to an end at some point, just sad that it was so soon for The Baths. Got my things together to checkout at 10am but then made a stop at the swimming pool one last time before leaving for Cape Town. It is beautiful here, in between the mountains, cliffs and rocks.
After driving back to Cape Town, I met up with some friends from “back in the day” when I was working for a different “Leopard”. It was good seeing more familiar faces and catching up with other people. It is astonishing how time just goes by, we all get a little older and the kids just suddenly grew up.
Staying in Cape Town tonight, hoping to get the shops open tomorrow and visit a couple of other familiar faces if the time allows.
