After being away for a while, I need to catch up on a couple of friends and things,
First order of business was to update my CV and all my online profiles on the various job searching platforms. Yes, not at all a “pretty” or “fun” to do, but I decided that I need to focus more time and effort on my job search. I hate (<-Yes I know this is a strong word.) bragging about myself and a CV feels like just that… talking about myself in way too much detail. I am going to be in Christchurch for the next two-odd weeks, so I will make a conscious effort to search and apply for new job opportunities. (Trusting in the universe to help me out with something great) With that being said, I also applied for my first position, the one I saw a week or so ago while being on the trail. Apart from the fact that it is not in Christchurch, I love everything else about it. Trying to curtail my excitement about it and trying not to overthink how moving to a different, smaller, town is going to affect me and my relationships with friends.
After all this I had to catch up on my mail, had a couple of annual bills to pay and deal with Dino’s insurance for the next year. I also managed to arrange a meditation with Emily and it went better than I expected. I need to remember that while I am at home it should be a daily ritual… sitting down and spending time with me and my energy centers. Finding my balance. (In an attempt to be a better friend…) I also helped her fix the headlights and a park light on her car before she heads out on her road trip. I forgot Emily’s birthday just before Christmas but in a strange chain of events, I purchased a suitable (almost perfect) gift for her months ago while overseas… strange how the universe worked that one out.
Met up with another friend this evening for macaroni pie and a movie at my place and packed my backpack again, preparing for a short walk tomorrow with some friends from the walking group. (<-See… all administration… nothing interesting… LOL).

CV stuff – not at all a “pretty” or “fun” to do – I can comprehend – it was like a full time job to do this – while I was searching …
Just the thought of having to do that again – makes me cringe~ and I might have to do that sooner than I think – urgh!
Perhaps – that first position, you applied for, will be a new beginning for you – lets see what the Universe holds ‘-)

What… haven’t had a good Macaroni Pie yet, surely you are missing out. It is like no apple you have had before.
