(Not sure if I can really call it admin), but I guess I am,
After searching for a bit, I found a place that had some real nice wood for the porch bench I am working on. It is also partially prepared and almost cut to the right length. So I asked them to cut it to my “correct” size and placed the order, to hopefully receive it later this week. I also picked up the oil and preparation products with the bolts and things already in hand. All ready to go on this project when I get the wood. I think it will look “spiffy” (<-not sure if this is still a word… or am I giving away my age?) when it is done. While at the hardware store I also collected some more paint to complete the fence painting job. 60 litres should get it done?
I purchased more bark as well, to cover the “lean” spots after clearing out the gamma quadrant yesterday. It is not worked into the garden yet, just off loaded from the back of the ute into a pile. I also realised I have another project I have not mentioned and am starting to look at. My grandparents cuckoo clock came over from South Africa as well. Dad looked at it a while back and said it was very worn out… so I might call in some experts to help me look at it. I have enough ON at the moment to do myself.
Completing a little preparation for my trip as well, checking out my shoes and finding my ski gear. Thinking about how cold it is going to be makes me a little nervous to be honest, but I just need to remember to take everything… and the right things. Really excited to be going and it is so soon… less than a month away.
