When is this going to end I ask?
I spent most of my day preparing and completing paperwork, paperwork surrounding the car. It was serious stuff and they (<-the compliance agency and I guess the inspector) wants me to show / prove the history of the car. Where it came from, previous owner and how I came in possession of her. I had to dig through everything I have, make copies and even find a Justice of Peace to complete a statutory declaration, swearing in front of her that certain information I declared were true. Ugh, after driving around and sending the emails it was close to 3pm and I didn’t feel like doing anything else. What a job.
Our walk for the up coming weekend was cancelled, after looking at the weather in the mountains and taking other people into consideration. I didn’t get a call from the company today to arrange a visit for next week, but it is early days and I remain positive. Would have been nice to be able to set things up over the weekend, but I guess it is not meant to be. Starting to look at accommodation in Blenheim… interesting to say the least. Crossing fingers it will work out.
Ended my Friday night with a call to Skylar in the USA. It was good to have a proper catchup after a busy week where we didn’t manage to align our calendars for a call. We were both unexpectedly busy and the times zones are not making things any easier. It is Friday night after all right?
