Yes, to save money and the job actually having a chance of passing my standards, I decided to paint the fence surrounding my property – using a spraying gun. I listed this as one of the things I will need to do, even before I purchased this property in 2022.
After a couple of weeks of planning, many trips to the hardware store, lots of YouTube watching and advice from Clint, the day has finally arrived. All the preparations were complete for the first section, got out of bed early and finished the last little small tasks like removing the washing line.
Clint arrived as expected, at o-seven-hundred-hours and after a briefing and inspection, we stirred, poured some paint and started… Clint, being happy with my skills, soon decided to join in and help (<- thanks a million).
What a pleasure it turned out to be, everything went according to plan and soon the first coat of paint looked great on the fence.
Solid planning mixed with a good day, fine weather, right colour, quality tools and most importantly, awesome friends.
