Packing,
Continue to figure out what to pack and what stays behind. I have been on many overnight and multi day walks, but nothing like the scale of the Te Araroa trail. Medical kit, emergency and survival gear, electronics, hygiene items and the most difficult… food and clothing.
So so much to think about, and it is tough not to go into full on planning mode. It is one of the “P” words I want to do less this coming year, Plan. Unfortunately a lack of planning is now leading to panicking, so time to plan a little more and find the middle ground.
