Paragliding in almost perfect conditions,
After my early morning meditation (<-Getting back to meditating everyday again) I “fiddled” a little bit with the car. Disconnecting the battery and putting it on charge as well as covering her up properly. Making sure she is tucked in nicely for the time that I will be away. I also started to make a list of outstanding things to fix and address on her… like the smell of fuel that is currently surrounding her… and my entire garage.
Not too long after, the “wind talker” at Taylor’s Mistake reported that it was time to hit the road towards the hill. It was an awesome couple of hours on the hill with smooth and easy flying conditions. Such a nice breeze and although the conditions at the cliffs weren’t perfect, it didn’t stop me from making multiple journey’s there and back. Wow, this is how paragliding should be.
After paragliding I had a couple of errands to run. I collected my spectacles from the optometrist, stopped at the hardware store and motor spare shop too and then collected a load of BBQ (braai) wood from outside of town. It is the right time of the year to purchase wood and stockpile a little before the wet and winter months. So much still to do before my trip, but just sticking to the list and ticking things off.
