Hoping that this new job opportunity comes together,
I had a second interview with staff from the company in Blenheim, where I applied for a job opportunity a while ago. In short I think it went okay, but it didn’t flow as smoothly as I hoped. Don’t get me wrong, it was not bad at all, but it seemed very question / answer driven. Still, I am happy that three of their senior staff members took an hour out of their day to speak with me. Lets see, hopefully I get a call soon and go for a visit next week. I called my previous employment “The Leopard”… not sure what I will name this one, maybe “The Hippo”?
After the interview I went over to (help) out a friend in need. He was (maybe still is) having a hard time today and I hoped that my presence there would help to calm things down a little. It was strange how I could recognise some of my old behaviors in him and how I was thinking it had something to do with the Leopard. Being under pressure takes a lot from us, and the effects of it is not always easy to recognised. I helped to fix a thing or two around his home as well and left later after his partner arrived home.
While on my way home, I stopped to check in on the car. I am a little bit annoyed and maybe frustrated… there is more paperwork to complete / sort out that I will have to do tomorrow. She is looking okay though, and I guess that is the main thing. Just remain focussed and keep on jumping through the hoops to get her on the road.
I had a meditation with Emily (<-wonderful I might add) followed by dinner with a friend at The Little High Eatery. Wow… it seemed like a busy day now that I am looking back.
