It was confirmed yesterday, I will have a flying sidekick in South Africa,
Clint booked his flights yesterday and will join me for two weeks in September / October, paragliding in South Africa. This is great news, honestly I was feeling a little “funky” having to fly on my own in RSA, but no more a problem. I think “sidekick” is also the right word – “an assistant or companion to another (often superior or more dominant) person”. Thanks Clint, looking forward to our time in RSA. I can show you some of the local spots hopefully.
I am still working on and waiting for my European visa from the French embassy, but at least it seems they have everything they require/requested. Crossing fingers it will come through soon. Trying not to worry about it… in my meditations it all works out.
I am continuing to sort through more photographs as well to put on the wall. Lots of memories and I am trying to remove some of the emotions connected to them, turning them into “wisdom”.
