While in the garage today and found my inline roller skates,
Well, how should I start this… I was busy in the garage today, cleaning and looking to make a little space to fit the other car. I found a box with my inline roller skates and stuff and thought to myself: “Surely you never unlearn that skill right?” I kitted up, luckily finding my helmet and knee/elbow/wrist protectors in the box as well before going out for a “spin”. Wow, it was so scary, and remind me to take my inReach satellite communicator with me next time. Not sure I will be able to get up once I fall on my driveway, and the answer to that previous question is most certainly YES.
I also completed a little DIY project, hanging a composite photograph I purchased earlier in the year while on the Te Araroa trail, walking through Wanaka. I saw the photo one evening through a shop window, and went back the next day during business hours to purchase it. Unfortunately, while in the store, another customer purchased it right before my eyes. So I asked, and the owner of the store agreed to order me a duplicate and post it to Christchurch while I continued on the Te Araroa trail. Looong story short, I received the photo, had it framed and now it is hanging in my kitchen as an awesome reminder. It is about time I have something from New Zealand on my wall.

Hahaha now I’m giggling too 🤣… so I guess no skating around the park anytime soon??
Maybe I will hold back, I would need to check my life insurance first… and at the moment I do not have private health insurance either. And if ACC gets involved I won’t be able to claim that I had a regular salary. Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t think about it at all.
Sorry..
Maar nou giggle ek nog meer (^_-)
Sure, looking back into it, it was funny. 2nd Degree Fun I guess.
Giggle ek nou lekker oor die skaatse.
The kindred spirit that will always remain within us (^_-)
Beautiful art piece!
Glo my, giggle is nie iets wat ek gedoen het toe ek hulle aan gehad het nie. Dit was regtig scary hoe bad ek was.
When I started learning the first time, I provided many laughs to the children in my complex I was staying in. So much so that I started practicing at night, after their bed time to feel less intimidated. It was also nice to have lots of lawn around, so that when I am about to fall, I can just leap towards the lawn… not the case on my driveway.
