Well “sort of” ready, I think, maybe, we shall see,
This morning the to-do list was blowing out. I was adding more things than ticking off, but I stayed the course and eventually I managed to make a little progress. Collecting a couple of things in town, stopped at the post office and made a visit to a friend or two or three actually. Just making sure my home is being looked after while I am away on the trail, that is all. Lots of thoughts in my head and as always, the day before going on the trail is the hardest. So much doubt, should I quit?
In different news, I tracked the ship on which the Ford GT is traveling and it is making good progress. Still crossing the Indian Ocean at the moment while on its way to Singapore. The landing date for the car is still around the 22nd of December… although I am not holding my breath. I am only booked to be back in Christchurch on the 24th of December.
That is it, bag is packed and after making dinner with a friend (to clear the contents of the fridge) I settled down early-ish to get some rest for the night. Tomorrow it is “game on”.
