I know I know… “The Garden” work never finishes, like doing laundry,
It was too way windy to paint today, so I rolled out of bed and straight into the garden. Skipping breakfast and to be honest skipping the shower too. I didn’t want to get “stuck” inside the house doing something else and was not looking forward to the work in the garden. I had one sector to clean and complete so I got busy. Got the hedge trimmer out (in full force) and had to cut back a lot of growth, even taking a walk around to the my neighbour, cutting the back of my hedge on their side too. I always have to be careful, making sure the power of the “sword” does not go to my head and I don’t get carried away. Cutting too deep, or too wildly, or losing fingers in the process. I picked up a lot of cuttings and old leaves, filling up the back of Dino. It took a big effort but it is done, I have my whole garden clean and up to date.
I had to take the garden refuse to the “drop off” and used the time to stop at the hardware store too. Picked up basic groceries and drinks for the party tonight on the way back.. Meeting up with a couple of friends tonight… Since the hiking was cancelled, we might as well drink right?
My friend Clint fell ill after returning from his international trip and so I will have no spray painting wingman if the weather turns out tomorrow morning. I better not make it a late night tonight.
