No time to fly today,
Although there might be a window for some flying in the forecast today, I am not looking to do so. I have to finish some of the projects I have going on before I leave for the USA in less than two weeks. First of all on today’s list, preparing the wood for the porch bench, washing it all down with some chemicals to ensure it is ready to receive furniture oil. Love my “new” workbench… even if it is tiny, flimsy and weak. It was free remember and I do not have to work on the floor, so it gets a 8 out of 10 from me. I have to get this bench done to clear some space in the garage… something big is coming next week.
While the wood was drying in the shade, I got things ready to spray paint the last and final small pieces of my boundary fence. I prepared all the sections earlier in the week, washing them down and just had to get it done this morning. I sprayed both the two coats waiting for about 30-ish minutes in between. It looks stunning and I am so chuffed that it is finally complete. Done, done.
Spent the last section of the day catching up with some friends and also making a call to RSA. I do not always know how to respond when things are suddenly changing and I am not always proud of my behavior either during these times. Time to talk about it I guess, not wanting to throw away an old friendship.
