The weather forecast was hopeful for an awesome day on the hill,

Time to get up early and be ready, waiting on the hill in case it gets strong early on in the day.  Clint and I managed to sneak in a couple of flights before the wind picked up and it got a little too “spicy” for my liking.  Clint pulled out his mini-wing for a play as well, trying to make it back to the cliffs, but was forced to land short and walk back.  All in all a great day on the hill even if I left a little early, believing the day was over when it turned out not to have been the case.  Note to self – Remember to wait next time.

I posted two little videos on my YouTube channel:
I slowed them down a little to half speed so you can enjoy the view a little more.

After getting back home around 2:30pm, I fell into the trap of what I call “Sunday afternoon blues”.  Tough to describe the exact feeling, but the Afrikaans saying: “Verlang na mense wat jy nie ken nie” is the closest.  “Longing for people you don’t know” is a close and rough translation into English.  Started to do some laundry, put on some music, laying back on the couch while periodically getting up to do other small task and chores.  This coming week brings on June and the year is almost halfway, have I done enough?  There is so much left to do, so no more lazy days like yesterday…
