More tick, tick, tick,
I assembled the bench today and feel so proud. It is looking great and should be good for a long while again. It now fits better with my home and at the back door so that I can have breakfast there in the shade during the morning. I can also still have all the feelings that comes with the bench. Such a good result and so happy about finally making time to restore it.
With the fence painting complete and the bench assembled and “done done” it was time to clear some space in the garage. The floor was vacuumed as well as washed and I made it known to Dino that he will have the honour of bringing home the baby tomorrow. The trailer is booked for tomorrow and everything else is set. So excited. I also managed to stop and watch the low flying formation of NZ Airforce Hercules aircraft doing their farewell flyover after 60 years in service. Amazing what can be achieved with engineering and teamwork, taking care of things. These aircraft are just a little bit older than my car. Hmmm.
Wrapped up the afternoon with a short meditation with Emily and in combination with my run this morning I am feeling great. Completed the setup for a small security camera I purchased from a friend and continuing to tick things off the list. All in all a very productive day.
