Glendhu to Wanaka – Day 24.

Easy, Lakeside walking, 
 
Waking up to a beautiful fine day after a wonderful night, it was tough to get out of bed, but I managed eventually to get going by 10am.  
I don’t understand everything about it, but I love Lake Wanaka and the surrounding areas.
Around the bend, and soon the town of Wanaka showed itself along with some amazing fresh water “beaches”.
Got to my accommodation in town with plenty daylight to spare. Will stay here for a couple of nights, resting and resupply. Time for some food that doesn’t need boiling water… and that view.
