Smile and wave,
It feels out of place, but I cant help but notice, a couple of times this morning, that I am smiling when I waved goodbye to Christchurch. Have I not been smiling lately? Hmmm, maybe I am doing something about it.
Anyhow, I made it to Invercargill, and contrary to what I have been told to expect, it was not 14 degrees. It actually turned out to be a great weather day, plenty of walking around and doing/seeing all the touristy bits.
Lots of parks and green spaces coupled together with wider than average streets, if you ask me, and a large CBD. Don’t forget about the Burt Munro and the 1920 Indian motorcycle memorabilia around every corner.

There used to be, and still might be a great collection of bikes in the Hammer Hardware store. Incredible example of ingenuity and ambition.
Yes, there is still a great collection of bikes. I popped my head in to see. Also, the Burt Munro Challenge starts tomorrow and runs for a couple of days. Burt Munro Challenge
