“Coming soon to a place near…” this blog,
Wow, I rolled out of bed this morning and straight back into the gamma quadrant. I made a massive effort today, clearing it out, clearing it ALL out. I wanted this sector clean and tidy and so after a BIG day I can say that it is done. It feels so good to be able to say “DONE!” as well as stop watering this area and hopefully lockdown on the weeds growing here. I feel a little sad about taking out the rose bushes but in the end I am happy with the results. The next door neighbour came round to cut the back of the hedges belonging to him too and so I helped clean up the mess. My yard is starting to look really nice a neat.
I am also starting to plan a short walk in the mountains for next week with some friends. Just a Saturday, sleep-over in the tents and back on Sunday. Nothing big but still a great way to get out and feel a little free again. I am starting to feel a bit of cabin fever being around my home for so long. Busy busy I guess, taking care of things here and still enjoying being outdoors on the weekend.
In other news… I am planning a trip back to the USA as well… in February. I am going for two weeks before I am about to start a new job. I know it is sort of in “extra time” of my year long sabbatical but I think it is important. Leaning into this one and trusting in the universe – while also going skiing.
