Trying to stay in touch with the world while sharing my adventure, posting some photographs and recording my thoughts.

One of my other hobbies – Lego.

Yes, I know… adults shouldn’t play with Lego but,

I thoroughly enjoy playing with Lego as a child and during my recent spell of dark years I started collecting and playing with Lego Technic again.  It still fascinates me, it is close to engineering and I was hoping that it would help me get some of my creativity back after the trauma of 2020.  Unlike a true collector, I actually play with my Lego and today was one of those days.  I had some multiple, long duration, long distance calls to make and Lego is perfect for keeping my hands busy while talking.  I cracked open one of my sets that I have not built yet and started… on the build and the calls.

It was good catching up with family, I should remember to do it more often.

In other news:  I had my skis at the shop today, all checked out and ready for the season starting in just about two weeks.  I also found a real photo shop that could digitally scan, enlarge and print some photo’s for me straight from old-school developed film.  Will make a nice gift for someone special I will meet later this year during my international trip.

So arty.. Right up my alley 🙃

    • I try… to stay young. Not many adults can say they have a Lego Technic collection of 40 000 bricks. I still have so many unopened sets that I have never built or played with, so I need to make more time. There always seems to be something else to do.
