Remember to meditate

Final day before my trip

Kept myself busy with all sorts of tasks today to ensure the Hamster does not go completely off track, at a million miles an hour.

I forgot how much I still wanted to achieve before I left home on my adventure.  Cleaning my place, making sure the garden is tidy and watered, looking after the laundry and checking the contents of my backpack one last time.  My reading glasses did not make the final cut of my backpack, so forgive me if there are spelling mistakes.

I managed to copy all my meditation material to my phone and make sure it is accessible offline.  Up until early last year, I always looked at meditation as something “soft and fluffy” but everything changed after I witnessed a real life example in 2022.  <-Thank you Emily.  It is one of those things I never have time for, but it feels so good after completing a session.  This year it is time to get all the animals in my zoo under control.  The Hamster needs to get his shredder out and clean up his paperwork and filing.  The Haaikie needs a new leash, cutting his addiction to “vitamin C’s” and some of the other animals needs attention too.

The plan is to meditate every single day for the coming year… so note to self, remember how good it feels afterwards and get it done.
