I still like coming home,
And more importantly, it still feels like MY home, even if it is a little musty and dusty, it is my place of “safety”… where I can do- and be- and eat- whatever I like without judgement.
I have been looking forward to my large, queen-size bed with duvet and soft pillows for so long, but strangely I struggled (again) to go to bed and sleep in it after I get home from the trail. I just don’t understand it, spending the first night home on the couch, falling asleep in front of the TV, rather than on/in the luxury waiting in my own bedroom. I woke up so tired, in the shape of a banana, but this is somehow according to the Hamster in my head, the better option. I do appreciate not having to deal with rodents while at home, or thinking about how many layers to put on to ensure I stay warm… but come on, seriously.
I guess some things you just don’t understand, and this includes the complexities of the body and mind. Inhale deeply, exhale and remember the 3 P’s of this year… No Plan, Purpose or Pressure.

Thanks for giving the rodents my address!
No problem. I just knew the rodents could do so much better than a DOC Hut. Lol
