Settling in and catching up.

I am taking it fairly easy here, taking a breather away from my own “projects”,

I just took it easy today, waking up late and joining breakfast for a chat.  Spent a little time with both mom and dad individually in conversations and scheming around the house.  Dad has lots of projects going and I was roped in to give some advice on many… even though I am confident that I was not the right person to do so.

Later I helped dad to measure out some shelves that he wants to fit in the garage and asked a company for a quote on a couple of things to make his job (hopefully) easier.  Lets see, maybe my advice is worth something… time will tell.  We walked around in the garden too and I was shown what a real weed problem looks like… unlike (hopefully) what I have at my place back home in Christchurch.

Not much else to report… apart from having some real strong feelings and emotions here and there.  There is a little history here and a lot of soul… that is unlikely to ever fade away.

I love the artist sketch ..

    • Trudi had it painted of herself sitting down at a street artist in New York once… I think. It is an interesting piece.
