A small little village next to the lake with a lot of fond memories,

This morning I got up with a couple of plans about my broken wing problem.  After a couple of internet searches and a call to a friend, I came up with a strategy for the day.
1. Get my current Nova wing fixed ASAP.
2. Look what other wings I can find today to demo in the next couple of days.
3. Probably NOT purchase anything new right now, I am unemployed after all and not making any sudden moves is probably a good thing.

So while I am trusting in the universe, I set out, ready to be surprised by the unknown…  First of all, my hosts offered my a lift to the other side of the lake, where they were visiting some other paragliding shops, saving me the trip by public transport.  Then the staff at Rip-air (the paragliding repair shop) was very understanding and took my wing in and said they will make time to repair the line and trim that section.  I walked over to the other paragliding shops and managed to find two wings I am interested in, with the correct weight range and reserved both of them in the coming days.  So… done!  Now what?

Well, I took the rest of the day and spent it in Talloires.  Again, I spelled it correctly, and I can say this name correctly too, but 20 points to you if you can.  LOL  I visited the most awesome bakery here (for some things for the Haaikie) and strolled down to the lake to find a spot in the shade under the trees.  This village is beautiful and we use to spend a lot of time here on previous trips, always staying here in Talloires on previous occasions.  I spend most of my time reading and catching up with friends while enjoying the views of the lake.  Just taking the signs from the universe and relaxing today, taking it all in.  BTW, Talloires also have a water taxi dock fitted with the most colorful flower beds this time of year.
After collecting my wing, I made the bus journey back home via Annecy town itself, changing busses at the train station.  From here I made a quick stop in Duingt at the supermarket for dinner essentials and coming out of the store, packing my dinner into the grocery bag I have been carrying around all day I realised some unfortunate event has taken place…  The Lindt chocolate I purchased for the Haaikie this morning in Talloires broke free from its wrapper, and the ambient temperature was far exceeding the melting point of the chocolate.  Ugh, lets just say that chocolate went everywhere, my phone, my kindle, all my shopping, over my paperwork and some even ended up on my shirt and my wing.  What a mess, and I had nothing to clean it with, so I just licked and embraced the situation, taking the bus further and sorting it out at home.  I guess for the next couple of days, everything will smell like chocolate, all thanks to the Haaikie wanting something, and the Hamster caving in half way, purchasing it and not allowing the Haaikie to devour it.  Maybe this is the universe taking “sweet” revenge for something bad I have done earlier in life… or for making the Haaikie in my tummy wait.
