I really appreciate your support, more than you might think,
Yesterday I “pushed play” on announcing my plans for adventure on my Facebook page and other social media. Within minutes messages of support and well wishes were coming in from all over the world on many platforms.
I also had my farewell “tea” at the Leopard today and again similar messages of support (some a little envious) and so many people checking in here.
All I can say is, wow and thank you. After what can only be described as an emotional roller-coaster week of mental ups and downs, excitement followed by anxiety and fear, and it is nice to feel like friends out there got my back.
