Since the car was still in Worcester with the exhaust people, we all had time to do something else for a change. Dad worked in the back garden, mowing the lawn and making the place look nice and neat for the guest that will be arriving soon. He also wanted to make use of the opportunity while the car was not here, “cramping” up the rear lawn. I wanted to help, but was told that I should be “having a holiday”… so in the words of one of my friend’s children, “I don’t like it like that” and left to do something else.
Spring is certainly here, and everywhere you look, there are flowers popping up, announcing the start of another season. Hopefully the weather will improve from here on and the needle on the thermometer will move a little more during the day too, upwards.
I retired to my room, laying in the partial sun, sharing it with “Hupplekat”. I am still recovering from this cold/flu thing that I have so it wasn’t all bad. I updated some computer work and my blog that was trailing behind for a couple of days. Thinking about it, everything is actually going okay, I am good and grateful to be here, doing what I do. Time to acknowledge this and take a moment to experience the emotion(s). I also started to do some more planning for the trip with Clint. He will be arriving next week and then we will be going flying for two weeks. Looking forward to it.
